This Keto chocolate cake has got to be the most decadent, most amazing, almost sinful thing on Earth.
This is a sort of magical hybrid of cake and fudge and brownies!
Note that this keto chocolate dessert torte contains no flour, no coconut flour, not cassava flour, not almond flour, not wheat flour.
It achieves this fabulous texture with lots of fat.
The flour in this Flourless Chocolate Torte, it’s the cacao powder!
Please be aware that this keto chocolate cake recipe is grain-free, gluten-free, nut-free, coconut-free, peanut-free, soy-free, dairy-free, even sugar-free.
This keto chocolate dessert does not contain a raising agent, such as baking soda, and relies on eggs to give it a slight rise.
If you prefer to use “regular” chocolate chips and a “regular” sweetener, go for it!
I created my own blend of erythritol (the safest and best alternative sweetener, in my opinion) and stevia.
If you’re living a low-carb lifestyle, such as a Ketogenic diet, this recipe is low in carbs and high in healthy fats.

½ cup ghee or coconut oil
½ cup Lily's stevia-sweetened chocolate chips*
2/3 cup Sweetener of your choice
4 pastured eggs
½ cup raw cocoa powder
½ teaspoon vanilla
¾ teaspoon of sea salt.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lightly grease a 7-inch springform pan and place a piece of parchment, cut to fit, in the bottom of the springform pan. Set aside.
Add fat of choice and chocolate chips to a double boiler or Bain Marie and melt over low heat, whisking together until smooth.
In a separate, medium-size mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sweetener, eggs, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt.
When the fat and chocolate are melted completely and smooth, add it to the sweetener-egg mixture.
Whisk until smooth.
Pour into prepared springform pan.
Bake 32 to 35 minutes, or until the top of the torte forms a dome and the torte begins pulling away from the sides of the pan.
Remove from the oven and set on a cooling rack to cool.
Remove springform from the pan and serve!
Top with fresh berries, whipped coconut cream, or a dusting of cocoa powder.
